United Way of Delhi and Genpact Celebrate ‘Gyanodaya’ 2024:
Human Rights Today/New Delhi/December 13: Igniting Curiosity and Space for sharing innovation
New Delhi, December 13, 2024 – The School-Centered Community Development (SCCD) Program, a joint initiative by United Way of Delhi and Genpact, marked another milestone with the celebration of ‘Gyanodaya 2024’. The event witnessed participation of 14 Municipal Corporation of Delhi schools from South Zone. The event aimed to provide space for learning and sharing of innovation teachers incorporated in their respective school. Students participated in cultural performance. Event provided platform for parents, teachers, and principals, bringing together the entire community in the spirit of education.
The program started in 2017 and transitioned into the present form which focuses improving school leadership which leads to system strengthening.
Over the years, the SCCD initiative is impacting lives through life cycle approach focusing on overall education improvement as a key component of the program.
In 2023, the program transitioned to a cluster approach, emphasizing system strengthening through collaborations with Education department.
The Gyanodaya 2024 event was graced by distinguished guests, including:

Dr. Sujeet Ranjan, CEO, United Way of Delhi Expressing gratitude, Dr. Sujeet Ranjan stated, “We are thankful to Genpact and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for their unwavering support. Together, we are not just building schools but creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive and excel.”
